Featuring a newly engineered A-Symmetric graphite frame design, the Black Max 5 offers improved ergonomics and comfort for extended days on the water.

Designed for strength and durability, the reel is equipped with Duragear™ brass gearing, providing dependable performance under load and long-lasting gear life. A 4+1 stainless steel bearing system ensures smooth retrieves, while the Power Disk™ drag system delivers consistent drag pressure with a maximum drag rating of 7kg (15lb).

The precision MagTrax™ braking system offers reliable and consistent casting control by applying uniform brake pressure throughout the cast, helping to reduce backlash while improving casting accuracy. Completing the package is a lightweight machined aluminium spool and a 90mm bowed aluminium handle fitted with oversized co-moulded soft-touch knobs for increased cranking power and all-day comfort.
