Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. If you receive an incorrect or defective item, we will cover the return shipping costs. Refunds are generally processed within four weeks of your package reaching the return shipper, though often sooner. The Daiwa Whisker 45 SCW QD-OT is a high-performance long-distance reel engineered for anglers who demand extreme casting capability and powerful retrieval performance. Ideal for surf, specimen, and long-range freshwater fishing, this reel is designed to handle rigs cast or deployed at extended distances with ease.
Featuring Daiwa’s 45mm LC Long Cast spool and Slow Cross Wrap line lay, the Whisker reduces friction during line release, allowing anglers to achieve maximum casting distance and improved line management.
The reel incorporates the QDM (Quick Drag Modulation) drag system, allowing the drag to be adjusted from fully open to fully locked with approximately three-quarters of a turn, giving anglers precise control when fighting powerful fish.
Internally, the reel is powered by Tough Digigear II, delivering ultra-smooth operation and optimized power transmission—perfect for retrieving rigs over long distances. The lightweight Zaion V Air Rotor improves balance and rotation, while the durable DS4 body construction provides rigidity and strength.
Supplied with three interchangeable spools, the Whisker adapts easily to different fishing environments and distance requirements.
