DEPS SAKAMATASHAD 3" LURE

DEPS SAKAMATA SHAD 3" SOFT BAIT

The Deps Sakamata Shad 3" is a compact soft bait stickbait designed to create a sharp, bouncing, darting baitfish action. Built with keels on both sides of the body, this lure naturally jumps, darts, and slides through the water, helping trigger reaction bites from bass and other predatory fish.

When fished weightless, the Sakamata Shad mimics a small baitfish fleeing toward the surface with sudden darting movement. It can also be fished through mid-water or along the bottom using split shot, Carolina rig, or other finesse presentations. The smooth body design reduces water resistance, allowing the bait to create wide sliding movement and fast darting action.

The 3" model is made from non-salt material with a lightweight body, giving it a natural finesse-style action. Its bifurcated tail moves realistically during darting retrieves, while the fins help create the signature upward bouncing action and keep the bait stable.

Action & Presentation

The Sakamata Shad’s side keels and fins help produce its signature jumping and darting movement. A slightly curved hook setting can enhance the keel effect, creating a more agile and irregular darting action that can trigger reaction bites from wary fish.

Application

Perfect for bass fishing, finesse fishing, clear water, pressured fish, baitfish imitation, open water, shallow cover, and light tackle presentations. The 3" size is ideal when fish are feeding on smaller baitfish or when a more subtle profile is needed.

Small, sharp, and full of action — the Deps Sakamata Shad 3" gives anglers a compact darting soft bait designed to trigger bites from pressured bass.
