Product Description

DEPS SAKAMATA SHAD 6" SOFT BAIT

The Deps Sakamata Shad 6" is a premium soft bait stickbait designed to create a powerful bouncing, darting baitfish action. Built with keels on both sides of the body, this lure naturally jumps, slides, and darts through the water, helping trigger aggressive reaction bites from bass.

When fished weightless, the Sakamata Shad mimics a fleeing baitfish moving toward the surface with sudden darting action. It can also be worked through mid-water or along the bottom using split shot, Carolina rig, or other presentations to create a baitfish-style movement that appears suddenly, moves aggressively, and disappears again.

The smooth body design reduces water resistance, allowing the bait to create wide sliding action and fast, erratic darting movement. The fins help produce the signature upward bouncing action, while the bifurcated tail moves naturally like the tail fin of a real baitfish.

Action & Presentation

The Sakamata Shad’s side keels and fins help create its signature jumping and darting movement. A slightly curved hook setting can enhance the keel effect, producing a sharper, more irregular darting action that can trigger reaction strikes from wary fish.

Application

Perfect for bass fishing, open water, clear water, pressured fish, reaction bite fishing, structure fishing, baitfish imitation, and larger soft bait presentations. The 6" size is ideal when bass are feeding on bigger baitfish or when a stronger profile is needed.

Big, sharp, and built to trigger reaction bites — the Deps Sakamata Shad 6" gives anglers a powerful darting soft bait with serious baitfish appeal.
