During the cast, the lure's internal weight transfer system shifts the weights towards the rear, providing improved casting distance and a straighter, more accurate flight. Once retrieved, the weights lock back into the forward position, ensuring the lure maintains its signature swimming action and balance.

The Laser Pro 120 DD is particularly effective when worked using Halco's famous "Rip and Stop" technique. By making sharp rod sweeps followed by pauses, the lure darts aggressively before suspending nose-down and slightly off-centre, creating an erratic action that often provokes explosive strikes from cautious predators.
