These soft rubber beads were originally developed for use with Korda Flying Backleads, where they sit above the leader knot to prevent the backlead from sliding all the way to the lead. However, their practical design makes them highly versatile.

The tapered internal bore allows these beads to easily slide over leader knots, making them perfect for helicopter-style presentations such as chod rigs. They also function well in shocker rigs when placed between the lead and a backstop, acting as an effective buffer.

Additionally, they can serve as knot protectors, as the knot can be tucked neatly inside the tapered bore. Available in Weed Green, in both 4mm and 5mm sizes, each pack contains 25 beads—making them a reliable addition to any tackle box.
