At the heart of the BB1 Pro is the lightweight U-Shaped 35mm braid-ready anodized aluminum spool, designed for increased line capacity and effortless long-distance casting. The advanced QuietCast® Adjustable Centrifugal Brake System (ACB) features a 6-pin externally adjustable design that allows anglers to fine-tune braking performance to perfectly match lure weight, wind conditions, and casting style.

Lew’s premium Speed Gears® and P2 Super Pinion® system are precision-cut using advanced Hamai CNC machinery, delivering smooth cranking power, improved gear alignment, and reduced wear over time. The result is exceptional smoothness and long-term durability under heavy use.

The reel also features a dual-stage titanium-coated zirconia line guide, positioned farther away from the spool to reduce line friction and improve casting efficiency. A premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded stainless steel bearings provides silky smooth operation and enhanced corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance.
