Built around a lightweight yet rigid one-piece aluminum frame, the Speed Spool LFS combines refined engineering with powerful fish-fighting performance.

At the core of the reel are Lew’s legendary solid brass Speed Gears, precision-cut using advanced Hamai CNC hobbing machines for smooth cranking power, improved gear alignment, and long-term durability. The drilled, machine-forged anodized aluminum 34mm spool provides lightweight strength and excellent casting performance across a wide range of lure weights.

The reel’s premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded stainless steel bearings delivers ultra-smooth retrieves and reliable long-term performance. Lew’s advanced Magnetic Control System (MCS) allows anglers to make quick external brake adjustments for precise casting control and reduced backlash in changing fishing conditions.

Equipped with Lew’s N2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear, the Speed Spool LFS improves gear stability and smoothness under load while enhancing overall casting efficiency.
