The Mares Rover Octopus is a dependable, mid-sized alternate second stage designed for recreational scuba diving. Built from lightweight technopolymer, it offers a practical balance of durability, comfort, and easy breathing performance.

The Rover Octopus features Mares’ VAD – Vortex Assisted Design, which helps create a smooth, natural breathing experience by directing airflow through a bypass tube to the mouthpiece. This is paired with a Fluid Dynamic Deflector, which helps control and direct airflow efficiently.

Its patented Mesh Grid helps reduce the effect of water flow on the diaphragm, which can help prevent unwanted free-flow in strong currents. A large, soft purge button makes the octopus easy to use in an emergency, while the rubber hose provides a simple and durable connection.
