Cast toward structure, drop-offs, current seams or deeper holding water, then use fast, erratic strips with occasional pauses to create an injured or fleeing baitfish presentation.

The weighted dumbbell eyes allow the fly to sink rapidly and produce a pronounced jigging action, making it particularly effective in deeper or faster-moving water.

Leader Recommendation

Tigerfish have sharp teeth capable of cutting conventional leaders. When targeting tigerfish with these flies, use an appropriate bite-resistant wire leader to reduce the risk of cut-offs. A short section of suitable knottable wire can be incorporated into the leader system according to your preferred rigging method and local fishing conditions.
