The Scotty 1071 Clamp Mount Downrigger is a compact, portable, and reliable manual downrigger designed for small boats, aluminium boats, and canoes. Built with a fully portable engineering-grade modified nylon clamp, this downrigger can be easily mounted onto a gunnel or transom with a 2" opening, making it ideal for anglers who need a practical setup without permanent installation.

Designed for simple operation, the Scotty 1071 retrieves one foot of cable per turn of the spool and features an easily adjustable brake tension knob for controlled lowering and retrieving. Its stainless steel and nylon construction provides durability and dependable performance in fishing conditions.

Supplied with 100ft of 150lb test stainless steel cable and a Power Grip Plus 18" line release, this downrigger is ready for controlled trolling applications. It is factory and field tested and recommended for use with weights under 4lb.
