XX Tough Drag System

Engineered for extreme saltwater battles, the Stella SW D features enlarged metal and carbon drag washers (top and bottom) for superior durability and heat resistance. Drag power loss due to heat has been reduced by approximately 30% compared to previous models thanks to improved design and an integrated heat sink.

InfinityLoop

A tightly engineered slow-oscillation system that dramatically improves casting distance, reduces line friction, increases drag smoothness, and minimises line trouble. Improved spool shape, refined worm shaft angles, and a 2-speed oscillation system enhance both flight distance and line management under high drag loads.

InfinityXross

Shimano’s latest gear-tooth geometry increases the tooth contact area by 1.3×, distributing load more evenly for exceptional strength, longevity, and ultra-smooth rotation under heavy pressure.

Anti-Twist Fin

Elastic fins near the line roller actively reduce slack during retrieve, preventing tangles, loop formation, and abnormal line lay—especially valuable during techniques like jigging or working slack-line lures.

AR-C Spool

X-Protect & X-Shield Waterproofing

Complete multi-point sealing with an IPX8-rated body and stopper provides maximum protection against saltwater intrusion while maintaining light, effortless rotation. Handle knob is also fully sealed.
