ZOOM SHIMMER SHAD 3.0" SOFT PLASTIC LURE

The Zoom Shimmer Shad 3.0" is a compact, highly versatile soft plastic baitfish imitation designed to deliver subtle, lifelike action across a wide range of fishing applications. Featuring a slim baitfish profile, flexible ribbed rear section, and distinctive forked tail, the Shimmer Shad is an excellent choice for finesse fishing and as a trailer for bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, and buzzbaits.

Measuring 3 inches (approximately 76mm), the Shimmer Shad features a streamlined body that closely resembles smaller baitfish, making it particularly effective when bass are feeding on smaller forage.

Its innovative ribbed skeleton-style rear section provides flexibility, allowing the forked tail to quiver naturally at virtually any retrieve speed. This subtle movement adds realistic swimming action without overpowering the movement of the main lure.

Originally designed as an ultimate bladed jig trailer, the Shimmer Shad enhances the presentation of chatterbaits and vibrating jigs by adding natural baitfish movement behind the lure. It is equally effective when used as a trailer on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.

The smaller 3.0-inch version is also particularly well suited to drop-shot fishing and lightweight jig head presentations. When used with forward-facing sonar, anglers can present the lure precisely to fish and monitor their response.

Whether used as a trailer or fished independently, the Zoom Shimmer Shad 3.0" delivers an excellent combination of natural movement, compact size, and versatile rigging options.
