The Zoom Horny Toad 4.25" is a highly effective topwater soft plastic frog-style lure designed to attract aggressive bass with its distinctive kicking action, surface disturbance, and irresistible buzzing presentation. Built for fishing through heavy vegetation and shallow cover, the Horny Toad is an excellent choice for anglers looking to trigger explosive topwater strikes.

Measuring 4.25 inches (approximately 108mm), the Horny Toad features Zoom's signature Ultra Vibe feet, which produce a lively pitter-patter action when retrieved steadily across the water's surface. The fast-kicking legs generate sound, vibration, and surface disturbance that can attract bass from surrounding cover.

Designed as the ultimate heavy-cover buzz toad, the Horny Toad excels when worked across lily pads, grass beds, and other shallow vegetation. When rigged with a suitable weedless hook, its streamlined body allows anglers to retrieve the lure through areas where traditional exposed-hook lures may struggle.

The Horny Toad is equally effective in open water, where it can be used as a search bait to locate active, surface-feeding bass. A steady retrieve keeps the legs kicking and creates a consistent buzzing action that encourages predatory fish to chase and strike.

Manufactured from salt-impregnated soft plastic, the Zoom Horny Toad combines a substantial profile with flexible swimming legs to produce an exciting and versatile surface presentation.

Whether fishing through thick grass, retrieving across lily pads, or covering open water, the Zoom Horny Toad delivers the action and surface disturbance needed to tempt aggressive bass.

Heavy-Cover Design

The Horny Toad is particularly effective when fished through thick grass, lily pads, and other shallow vegetation, especially when paired with a suitable weedless hook.

Salt-Impregnated Soft Plastic

The salt-infused construction provides the characteristics associated with Zoom's soft plastic range while maintaining the flexibility needed for effective leg movement.
